Artinside Gallery is NOT a traditional art gallery. Artinside Gallery is NOT a traditional online art portal. Artinside Gallery is NOT a traditional art catalogue.

Artinside Gallery is the first art gallery without walls, in Augmented Reality: the perfect synthesis between the tradition of art galleries and the future of technology.

Artinside Gallery was designed and developed in 2019 by Artebinaria, a Florence-based tech company made up of software engineers, art historians, and professional curators.

The app Artinside Gallery+

Nowadays, the concept of traditional art gallery is too limiting, because technology and lifestyles allow – and require – the crossing of boundaries of space and time.

On the other hand, technology often promotes quantity instead of quality, the homologation of artists instead of the enhancement of their identity, the automation of the exhibition and commercial processes instead of direct relationships between artists, galleries, dealers and collectors.

Artinside Gallery is an innovative software platform, which uses Apple’s state-of-the-art Augmented Reality technologies, and an advanced cloud computing platform, to reproduce the experience of visiting a real art gallery, through pavilions and exhibition rooms, where artworks are displayed in life-size and high resolution in the space around each visitor, outdoors or indoors, just as if they were hanging on imaginary walls.

Pavilions

Artinside Gallery is composed of Pavilion, dynamic exhibition spaces in which artworks come to life in front of the eyes of each visitor. People can use the “Artinside Gallery+” app on their iPhone or iPad, wherever and whenever they want, and thus visit the Pavilions in their living room, in their garden, in the middle of a famous historical square, or even in a breathtaking panoramic spot, such as in the middle of a forest or at the foot of a glacier, just to give you a few examples.

Artworks materialize in 3D, in their natural size, as if they were hanging on the walls of invisible rooms, which do not conceal the environment in which the visitor finds himself at that moment: on the contrary, the surrounding space, lights and sounds interact with the artworks themselves, creating unusual and unexpected emotions in each visitor.

For the first time, this opens up for artists the possibility of setting up an imaginary dialogue between their artworks and their public, at any time and in any part of the world.
